We are happy to announce VOCAL’s newest program, For the Animals (FTA). Each quarter VOCAL will be awarding a grant to a local animal rescue organization.
If your organization is located in Leon, Wakulla, Franklin, Jefferson, Gadsden or Taylor counties and you could use financial assistance in your work as animal advocates please email [email protected] and include the following:
- Tell us about your advocacy in your community, what do you do and include your success numbers for the last 3 years (how many animals have you helped in your community, etc.). Haven’t been advocating for 3 years? No problem, include the information from when you began and note that in your email.
- Attach a copy of the current years Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (FDACS) Solicitation of Contributions Annual Renewal Registration.
- Your organization must be an approved 501(c)(3) and attach a copy of your IRS Determination letter.
- Within your email include links to your website and any socials (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). If you do not have a website any socials you have will suffice.

Please double check you have attached all of the items above. If any information is missing your organization will be ineligible.

Please note to keep our administrative costs as low as possible we do not have any compensated staff. Therefore, please communicate via email only – no phone calls please.
Do not submit more than once in a 12 month period. At our discretion, we may choose more than one recipient and award a grant in a following quarter to that organization. Should this happen, we will notify that recipient.
